Copper Blossom Edinburgh

Copper Blossom Edinburgh

From the Penhaligon's products in the bathroom to the floral theme running through the cosy main room, Copper Blossom in Edinburgh is everything I would want my own restaurant to be. It's safe to say I felt right at home.

On a recent trip to Edinburgh, I stumbled on Copper Blossom at brunch time. Yes, it's a real time! My friend and I thought it seemed like the perfect place to start a long day of walking and shopping in the country's capital. Located in a tiny corner on George street (near all the shops!) it was a genuine accidental find.

Brunch for me means cocktails, and I ordered a pornstar (unfortunate name but I love the drink). I wasn't disappointed, and could have happily stayed where I was ordering drink after drink and forgetting about food altogether. But food was what we went for, and the menu options were fantastic. Brunch is available all day on a Sunday, and the minute I saw the french toast with bacon and maple syrup I was sold. My friend had eggs Florentine, and both dishes were absolutely delicious. Everything from the quality of the food to the presentation was fantastic, I only wish we had gone for lunch and dinner as well!

Where are your favourite brunch spots? Hell, what's your favourite brunch food?
