My 30 Before 30 List
I do really love a good list. Here is my list of things I hope to do, and places I hope to see before I hit the big 3-0.
- See the Northern Lights
- Visit Tokyo, Japan
- Learn a second language
- See the Christmas tree at Rockefeller Centre
- Stay in an ice hotel
- Go to a Wimbledon match
- Have an article published in a magazine
- Spend a night in one of these
- Throw tomatoes at La Tomatina
- Drink all the beer at Oktoberfest
- Drive the North Coast 500 in Scotland
- See more of Scotland ✔️
- Start a business
- Road trip Iceland
- Go to a European Christmas market city ✔️
- See a glacier
- Bathe in a hot spring ✔️
- Take a trip on my own
- Go up in a hot air balloon
- Let go of a Chinese Lantern
- Stay in an overwater bungalow
- Stargaze somewhere completely dark
- Walk the Giant's Causeway
- Learn to ski/snowboard ✔️ (Had a lesson anyway!)
- Take a cooking lesson in another country
- Float in the Dead Sea
- Visit Stonehenge
- Take a French Patisserie class
- Ride a vespa
- See the fairy pools in Skye
I doubt it's possible to achieve them all by the time I'm 30 (I only have 4 years to go now!) But a 30 before 35 list just didn't have the same ring to it. I'll tick off as I go along.
