2017 Travel Plans
Pretty much as soon as December is over, I'm over winter. When January hits I'm ready to be off somewhere new (and preferably hot).
So as soon as January rolled around I got to researching my trips for the year. So far, I know I'm going to Singapore and Bali in September. Neither had been on my travel radar, but when the opportunity comes up who am I to say know! I've heard so many good things about Singapore that now I know I'm going I can't wait. It's going to be so clean! I can't wait to research cool things to do in the city, and places that will make my camera happy. As for Bali...well we all need a bit of sun don't we? And I hear there's an amazing vegan food scene that I can't wait to try out!
In December I'm hoping to go to a Christmas market, and have my eve on Vienna. I've never been to Austria, and I think going in the winter when everything's festive and pretty will be lovely. I'm also hoping to take a little trip to Seville or Lisbon in summer. The great thing about living in the UK is the close proximity of so many amazing towns and cities. Hopefully, I'll be able to take better advantage of this in 2017.
The first six months of the year are wide open though, and I really want to fill them up with little mini trips in Scotland. I've said before that I haven't seen enough of the place, and I really should! Starting this week with a day trip through Glen Coe (weather permitting).
The best thing about travelling, though, is how spontaneous you can be with it. Who knows where I'll end up!
